In an effort to raise awareness of North Carolina's proposed Amendment One, which would define marriage as between a man and a woman in the state constitution, Alligator Indian is offering their song "Our Love Was A Crime" as a free download. The song itself was written in defense of equality for all love, so in that spirit, the band asks that in return for the free download, you post online about Amendment One and urge your friends and followers who live in the state to go out on May 8th and VOTE NO. Top Girls and Pariah Carey, both NC residents, have graciously provided an eerie remix apiece to sweeten the deal. Please help spread the word.
